What use will this assessment report be?
This isnot just a review of a companies IT organization.
Its an independent and unbiased review of how your IT supports the business.
For the Owner, Director or CEO it's a review of how IT interacts with the business.
For the IT Manager it could show areas of weakness in his department and highlight misaligned SLA's and OLA's.
Are there diffent kinds of assessments?
DPMC Services offers two forms of "IT Business Assessments". - "Standard" For a small* to medium* size business. - "Advanced" For a medium* to large* business.
Which is best for your company would be agreed at an introductory interview.
*A Small business IT department can be possibly only 6 or 7 networked PC's. *A Meduim business IT department could be possibly be up to 20 networked PC's, with servers. *A Large business IT department could be 20+ networked PC's, with servers and storage.

How long does an Assessment take?
A "Standard" Assessment should take about two weeks to complete. This includes "Introduction presentation", the employee interviews, the production of the IT Assessment Report and it's presentation.
A"Advanced" Assessment could take between two to three weeks to complete depending on its complexity. This includes the "Introduction presentation", the employee interviews, the production of the IT Assessment Report with detailed gap analysis and it's presentation.
What is required to get started?
You need to first decide on a "Sponsor". This is usaully a Director, CEO or CIO or Owner of a company.
Next you need assign an "Administrator". This person is responsible for facilitating and booking the interviews and meetings with your employees with our DPMC Services representitive(s).
